40 universities will be able to use the TQF logo on their diplomas

The introduction of the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) logo, which will ensure the validity of student diplomas and graduation certificates in Europe, was hosted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Vocational Qualifications Authority (VQA) in Ankara. 40 universities are entitled to use the TQF logo on student diplomas, which means that the quality of the education and diplomas received by students is at European standards.

33 public and 7 foundation universities along with Doğuş University were entitled to use the TQF logo on their diplomas. Deputy Ministers of Labor and Social Security Prof. Dr. Lutfihak Alpkan and Faruk Özçelik, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Prof. Dr. Haldun Göktaş, Chairman of the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çufalı, Chairman of the VQA Mustafa Çufalı, VQA President Cemal Cihan Coşkun, Ministry of National Education (MoNE) Director General of Vocational and Technical Education and TQF Board Chair Nazan Şener, stakeholders of TQF such as MoNE, Council of Higher Education, Higher Education Quality Board, TQF Board, Rectors and Vice Rectors of universities whose graduation certificates will use the TQF logo for the first time this year, and invited guests.

In the speeches, it was stated that the TQF is a national qualifications framework that shows all the qualification principles gained through general, vocational and academic education and training programs designed in line with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and it was emphasized that the Turkish education, training and qualification system is the window to Europe and the world.
